The 20th PAAL Conference
PAAL (Pan-Pacific Association of Applied Linguistics) would like to invite you to its 20th anniversary international conference in December. The conference will be held in Korea University on December 5-6, 2015. Please join the conference and share your knowledge and experience about language teaching with other professionals at this event.
Theme: English Language Education Policy and Practice: Asian Perspectives

1. Deadline for proposals: October 17, 2015
We are currently accepting additional presentation proposals and abstracts for this conference. To submit your proposal, forward your completed abstract in the template format by October 17, 2015 via email, paalkorea1@gmail.com.
2. Deadline for proceedings: October 31, 2015
All the presenters are required to submit their papers for the proceedings of PAAL 2015. Those who exceed the deadline will be automatically disqualified. Please find the template for the proceedings of PAAL 2015 in the attachment. Make sure that your paper should be sent to paalkorea1@gmail.com by October 31, 2015.
3. Membership
Please keep in mind that both you and your co-authors (if you have any) are required to be a member of PAAL. In order to be a member of PAAL, please complete a membership application form and e-mail it to paalkorea1@gmail.com, and pay PAAL annual membership fee (KRW 30,000; USD 30) for 2015 through bank remittance (wire transfer) immediately after you receive the notification of acceptance. 4. Early-bird Registration
Registration is required for all conference participants. Early-bird registration (available until October 31, 2015) fees are offered at a discounted rate and graduate school and undergraduate students benefit from reduced registration fees. Those who want to pay early-bird registration fee outside Korea, please contact us at paalkorea2@gmail.com.
